YOUR WORDS, YOUR MOMENTS
Privacy at Bloomria
Version 2026-09-26. This notice describes how Bloomria handles information when you create, receive or keep a digital gift.
Bloomria is operated by Bloomria. For support, privacy requests or questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
What we keep and why
We store the names, letters, flower designs and optional photos or recordings you choose to provide so your gifts can be delivered and opened. Accounts contain an email address, a password hash and sign-in sessions. Session records include an IP address and browser information to support account security. Saved recipients can include a name, email address and optional birthday. Delivery email addresses are encrypted in our database.
Purchases, subscription periods and gift counts let us grant paid features and show your sending history. Stripe processes payments; Bloomria does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Reports, delivery failures and security records help us investigate abuse and operate the service.
Business profiles and messages
Business profiles store a name, logo, signature colour, website and optional tagline. Branded gifts show a saved copy of that branding to their recipients. Message templates are encrypted in the database and belong to the signed-in account. Deleting an account also removes its business profile, templates and owned gifts.
Who can see a gift
Individual gifts are unlisted and excluded from search engines. Anyone who has a gift link can open it unless you add an access code. A recipient can forward a link or copy content, so share it thoughtfully. Gift letters are stored on our server; they are not end-to-end encrypted.
Garden members can see memories in their shared garden. Group gifts are shared with the people who receive the relevant invitation or gift link. Authorized staff can review a reported gift to investigate abuse; this access is recorded.
A separate choice for the public gallery
Submitting to the gallery requires an explicit choice and moderation. A gallery entry contains a copy of the flower design and the public title and note you supply. It does not include your original private letter, sender and recipient names, recordings, photos or private gift link. You can withdraw your entry from the gift's management page. Copies made by others or search-engine caches may remain outside our control.
Devices, cookies and measurements
We use cookies for sign-in, request security and your language choice. Your browser stores your appearance preference and an unfinished gift draft, which can contain your letter. Use “Clear draft” on a shared device. Drafts older than seven days are removed the next time the builder checks them. Closing a tab does not clear browser storage.
The app's offline cache contains its public offline page and icons, not private gifts. We record limited usage events and aggregate counts to understand features and failures. Raw analytics events are scheduled for removal after 30 days; aggregate counts can remain. Private letters and media are not included in analytics. Optional error reporting is filtered to remove private content.
Services that help us operate
When enabled, our hosting and storage providers process data on our behalf, Stripe handles billing, Amazon SES delivers email, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse, and Sentry receives filtered error reports. Providers may process data in countries other than yours and have their own privacy terms. These integrations depend on the services enabled for Bloomria.
Note translation is optional. Only an explicit translation request sends the selected note fields to OpenAI. Changing a language alone does not send your note. A translation is shown for review before you apply it. Requests ask the provider not to store a response, but provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Bloomria does not use your private gifts to train its own AI models.
How long things stay
Free gifts normally expire after 45 days. Our cleanup removes their personal letter fields; the design and operational records may remain. Paid gifts remain available as keepsakes while supported by the service unless deleted or removed for abuse. Canceling a membership does not delete previously granted paid gifts.
Deleting a gift removes it from the app and queues removal of its stored media. Processing and provider backups can take additional time to clear. Some payment, fraud-prevention or legally required records may need to remain with the relevant provider. We do not promise instantaneous removal from backups or other people's copies.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your own gift using its management link or your signed-in gift list, remove attached media, withdraw a gallery entry, remove saved recipients, and delete your account with your password. Account deletion also removes your gifts and owned gardens; active billing must be canceled successfully first. A recipient can use “Report this gift” if something is wrong. Contact us for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests available under the laws that apply to you. We may need to verify your connection to the data.
We will update this notice when our practices change and identify its version here. See also our terms.
